To further strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience in the province of Cavite, the prepositioning of Non-Food Items (NFIs) was formalized through the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) between the Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) and the Office of Civil Defense (OCD)-CALABARZON on September 18, 2025, at the New Provincial Government Center in Trece Martires City.
Cavite Governor Francisco Gabriel โAbengโ Remulla and OCD CALABARZON Regional Director Carlos Eduardo Alvarez III led the ceremonial signing and turnover, marking the commitment of both entities to provide assistance during disaster and ensure prompt response and immediate delivery of essential NFIs to affected communities.
Governor Remulla extended his gratitude to the OCD-CALABARZON for deploying such essential items for his constituents.
Witnessing the signing of MOA was Dr. Eloisa Rozul, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, alongside Mr. Randy Dela Paz, OCD-CALABARZON Operations Section Chief.
