Demonstrating its steadfast commitment to community development, Metro Pacific Tollways
South (MPT South) actively participated in the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela
2025 “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa” by donating 900 school
supply kits to public schools across Cavite and Parañaque on June 9 to 11, 2025, in
preparation for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.
The initiative, which aims to support students and ease the financial burden of families in
preparation for the incoming school year, reached various schools in the cities and
municipalities of Imus, Silang, General Trias, Kawit, Bacoor, and Parañaque: Alapan II-B
Barangay Hall, Malagasang II-B Barangay Hall, Hipolito Saquilayan High School, and
Alapan II-A Elementary School in Imus; Tibig Elementary School in Silang; Cecilio M. Saliba
Elementary School, Governor Ferrer Memorial Integrated National High School, and General
Trias Memorial Elementary School in General Trias; Florante Ilano Elementary School and
Binakayan National High School in Kawit; Perville Daycare Center Moonwalk, Sto. Niño
Elementary School, and San Dionisio Elementary School in Parañaque; and Salinas
Elementary School and Longos Elementary School in Bacoor.
Each student received a thoughtfully assembled school kit containing ballpens, notebooks,
pad paper, and crayons—basic yet essential items intended to help the students start the
school year equipped and motivated to learn.
One of the highlights of the donation drive was the turnover at Salinas Elementary School,
which coincided with Bacoor City’s official opening of Brigada Eskwela 2025. The event was
attended by Cavite 2nd District Representative, Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla,
Maraming salamat, CAVITEX! Sama-sama, tulong-
tulong, para sa mga paaralan ng Bacoor!”
Arlette V. Capistrano, Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management at
MPT South said, “We believe that our role in nation-building goes beyond the roads and
expressways we build. It also means supporting the communities we operate in—especially
the students who represent the future of those communities. Brigada Eskwela has always
been a meaningful way for us to give back.”
The donation drive is a part of MPT South’s wider Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
program, which extends beyond toll road operations to community-based initiatives that
promote education, environment, safety, and livelihood.
