On November 25, 2024, the Women’s Welfare Program continued with its mission of bringing joy and providing much-needed assistance to thousands of Caviteรฑas in the Cities of Imus and General Trias.
Governor Athena Tolentino was joined by Vice Governor Shernan Jaro as she collaborated closely with the city officials, led by Imus Mayor AA Advincula and General Trias Mayor Jon-jon Ferrer, in ensuring the welfare of women and recognizing their marked contributions and roles in the province. Governor Athena also underscored the unyielding determination of the provincial government of Cavite to uplift the women community, “Kami po ay ang inyong mga tagapagtanggol, tagasuporta, at taga-gabay para sa isang mas mapayapa at mas maginhawang kinabukasan ng mga kababaihan.”
Each beneficiary received cash assistance amounting to Php 2,000.
The program carries on with its path to tap every woman in Cavite.
