The Cavite Quality Management Office (CQMO) warmly welcomed the delegates from the Provincial Government of Quezon, led by Mr. Alberto S. Bay Jr. during their visit to the province for a benchmarking activity, on July 18, 2024, aiming to enhance their operations and services.
The activity commenced with a short program at the Session Hall of the Legislative Building for the formal introduction of the participants. Cavite AVPs were presented for the visitors to have a glimpse of what Cavite is, and what it has to offer.
Ms. Michelle F. Alcid, Provincial Board Secretary and Quality Management Representative, proudly spoke of the PGCโs ISO Certification journey and how it became the first provincial government in the entire country to be ISO certified in 2012.
Also, during the course of the activity, the delegates had the opportunity to seek information regarding the practices implemented in the provincial government to maintain the quality and continually enhance its services, which was informatively answered by Ms. Anne Minette Dastas, Ms. Alcid, Mr. Jovani Cuadra, Mr. Niko Montenegro and Ms. Gladys Pangilinan. Afterwards, the delegation visited the various offices to see firsthand and understand the tools and practices utilized within the PGC.
In closing, the CQMO employees handed out a token to the representatives, consisting of various Cavite products, as a gesture of appreciation for visiting the province.
