The Provincial Government of Cavite, in coordination with former City Councilor
Walter Martinez, brought hope
and relief to the residents of
Barangay San Francisco, City
of General Trias through the
medical mission program conducted on June 22, 2023.
Medical staff from the
Office of the Provincial Health
Officer worked hand in hand
with General Trias City Health
Office team in rendering free
consultations, check-ups, and
other basic medical services to
a total of 326 locals who sought
assistance for their health concerns.
On the other hand, the
Office of the Provincial Governor-Extension provided free
medicines and vitamin supplements, ensuring access of
those in need without financial
burden. Mosquito-repellant
lotion was also distributed as
part of the fight against dengue
and other mosquito-borne diseases.
Antigen swab testing was performed to those
individuals who presented
symptoms, making sure of everyone’s safety in the venue
proper.
With the unwavering
support of Sangguniang Kabataan, local officials and volunteers, the medical mission
was concluded successfully,
extending a much-needed
