In its commitment to provide
excellent service to the public, employees of the Provincial Government of Cavite participated in the Filipino Brand of Service (FBS) Excellence training spearheaded by the
Department of Tourism Calabarzon Office on August 17, 2023. The FBS is a flagship
program of the Department of Tourism – Philippines for frontline personnel to instill core Filipino values that
include the 7Ms – Maka-Diyos, Makatao,
Makakalikasan, Makabansa, Masayahin,
May Bayanihan, and
May Pag-asa, while
rendering services to customers. The Mabuhay Gesture
to welcome guests was introduced to representatives
of different provincial offices. Moreover, the Heart Module was effectively shared by Ms. Maria Fe C. Rofule, a
DOT-accredited Master Trainor, highlighting the importance of listening, empathizing, apologizing, resolving
concerns and saying thank you as ways to effectively
handle clients’ complaints. In the region, Cavite province
is the first government agency that were trained on FBS
through the request
of the Office of the
Provincial Tourism Officer Rozelle
Sangalang.
