healthcare.
The Imus local government helped make sure
that the 442 inmates in its city jail would be able to avail
themselves of the services of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation.
Philhealth personnel visited the city jail to help
inmates to register with the agency or update their membership.
Newly-registered members will be able to use
the E-konsulta program to have their conditions checked,
the city government said.
They may also seek medical consultation at the
Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital of the Department
of Health, it added.
