marked a historic day in
the fight against tuberculosis as the General Emilio
Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH) inaugurated its Tuberculosis (TB)
Culture Laboratory at the
hospital compound in
Trece Martires City. This
pioneering facility, the first
of its kind in Region IV,
promises to revolutionize
TB diagnosis and treatment.
The inauguration
ceremony brought together healthcare leaders and
professionals who collaborated towards the realization of the project. Dr.
Nonie John Dalisay led
the team from the Office
of the Provincial Health
Officer, joined by Dr. Eva
Marie Torlo, Head of the
DOH Infectious Diseases
Unit, and Mr. Arnyl Araneta, Program Director of
ACCESS TB Project.
On behalf of
Governor Jonvic Remulla,
Provincial Administrator
Alvin Mojica graced the
ceremony and expressed
his wholehearted appreciation and support for the
additional healthcare facility for Caviteños. Likewise,
Board Member Reyniel A.
Ambion was in attendance
to celebrate the milestone
project.
