In the light of the
implementation of Republic Act 11900 or the
“Vaporized Nicotine and
Non-nicotine Products
Regulation Act” which
took effect on August 12,
2022 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) in full effect on
December 28, 2022, the
DTI-Cavite has conducted a province-wide virtual
conference dubbed as “Be
Informed, Be Aware, Be
Prepared – Cavite Vape
Industry Readiness on
the Implementation of RA
11900” last April 20, 2023.
This initiative provided support and assistance to the United Cavite
Vape Shop Owners, a
group of vape shop owners, importers and manufacturers, by equipping
them with enough knowledge about RA 11900 to
ensure full compliance to
all the requirements of the
law.

the Importation, Manufacturing, Sale, Packaging,
Distribution, Use, and
Communication of VN&NNP and NTP. The Department of Health (DOH)
Region 4A provided an
audio-video presentation
