opens this year’s National Shelter Month with another housing milestone under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program in Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
Barely seven months after the groundbreaking last February, topping off ceremony was held Thursday for 4PH Jab Residences’ Towers C and D in Barangay Paliparan, indicating the two buildings’ final stages of construction.
Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling, accompanied by Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles Jr., led the topping off ceremony along with Pag IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta and Megawide Chairman, President and CEO Edgar Saavedra and other DHSUD, Pag IBIG Fund, Megawide and LGU officials.
The topping off of Jab Residences’ Towers C and D indicated the completion of structural works and the advance stages of construction of the two buildings which are part of the 17-tower project that will generate at least 4,000 condominium-type housing units.
The milestone reflects the National Shelter Month 2026 theme, “Tahanan. Pamayanan. Kinabukasan,” highlighting the importance of providing not only decent homes but also opportunities for Filipino families to build better communities and secure a brighter future. October is declared as National Shelter Month every year by virtue of Proclamation No. 662 series of 1995.
