September 14, 2026 – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) โ Cavite Provincial Office participated in the Handog ng Pangulo celebration held at the Ceremonial Grounds, New Provincial Government Center, Trece Martires City, Cavite, by bringing its programs, services, and assistance closer to identified beneficiaries, particularly in the areas of enterprise development, business advisory, and support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Leading the activity were SILG Juanito Victor Remulla and Gov. Abeng Remulla together with Vice Gov Ram Revilla, Congressman Ping Remulla, provincial board members and mayors from Caviteโs cities and municipalities.
As part of the celebration, seven (7) Kadiwa ng Pangulo exhibitors showcased their products, providing beneficiaries and visitors with an opportunity to access and support locally produced goods. DTI Cavite also facilitated the awarding of Shared Service Facilities (SSF) to one (1) Ideation, Design and Development Laboratory and one (1) Coffee Roasting facility, aimed at enhancing the capabilities, productivity, and competitiveness of their beneficiaries.
In support of MSME financing, six (6) MSMEs received loan assistance from the Small Business Corporation (SB Corp.) amounting to Php 11,275,000.00 providing them with additional resources to sustain and expand their businesses.
DTI Cavite also set up an information booth featuring services from both the Business Development Division (BDD) and the Consumer Protection Division (CPD). The booth provided participants with information and guidance on DTI programs, business development services, consumer-related concerns, and other assistance available to MSMEs and the public.
Present during the celebration were DTI Region IV-A Assistant Regional Director Revelyn A. Cortez and DTI Cavite Provincial Director Lilibeth R. Chavez, who joined the activity and extended DTIโs support to the beneficiaries and participating stakeholders.
Simultaneously, DTI Cavite participated as one of the national government agencies in the Job Fair 2026: โHandog sa Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat,โ spearheaded by DOLE led by Sec Francis Tolentino and the City Government of Tagaytay and held at the CT Velodrome, Tagaytay City, Cavite. The activity featured a job caravan, Kadiwa ng Pangulo, and One-Stop Shop services, bringing employment opportunities, government services, and support programs closer to beneficiaries as part of the nationwide Handog ng Pangulo celebration. DTI Cavite was represented by Negosyo Center Researcher Mark Gabilo, who provided business counseling to clients and information on DTI programs and services, including business registration, enterprise development, and other assistance available to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs.
