The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cavite supported the awarding of the Project Development and Advancement Grant (PDAG) to the Nagkakaisang Mandaragat ng Talaba 2 at Zapote 5 Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Association on October 8, 2026, at the 5th Floor of the Bacoor Disaster Resilience and Legislative Building, Barangay Bayanan, City of Bacoor, Cavite.
Organized under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the activity was attended by representatives from DSWD Cavite, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Cavite, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Cavite, Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite, the Local Government Unit of Bacoor, and DTI Cavite.
Prior to the grant awarding, the association underwent various trainings and seminars to enhance its capabilities and prepare its members for enterprise development, including a capability-building training facilitated by DTI Cavite through Negosyo Center Bacoor.
Representing DTI Cavite, Business Development Division (BDD) Chief Julita C. Salvacion delivered a message of support, reaffirming the agencyโs commitment to collaborative initiatives that promote enterprise development and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
